INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING & PAINTING (six weeks)
Do you want to paint but need better basic drawing skills? Begin with drawing fundametals - proportion, line, value and negative space. Transitioning into painting, you learn how to compose and begin a painting, mix colors, use brushes, and handle paint. More advanced projects are given to returning students.

OIL PASTEL TREES - one day workshop
Enjoy an informative, colorful and productive workshop in the use of oil pastel. Learn the differences between the types of oil pastel. Learn the differences between types of oil pastels and papers. Practice color mixing, blending, scratching, and turpentine "wash" techniques. You spend much of the time drawing trees and landscape in oil pastel.
All materials included.
